Jaume I University

The Universitat Jaume I (UJI) is the public university in the north of the Valencian Community, a region on the European Mediterranean coast located between the cities of Valencia and Barcelona. Established in 1991, the UJI has positioned itself as a university of proximity characterised by its personal attention, smooth-running management procedures and the high levels of participation of its members in university life, due, among other things, to its convenient size, with about 15,000 students, and its integrated, modern, functional and sustainable campus.


Getting There

The new transport channel reserved Castellon communicates every five minutes the train station and bus UJI campus. The TRAM is half electric, comfortable, efficient and sustainable transport that has changed the travel habits of the university community. 
The Hotel Luz Castelló 4* and Eurohotel Castelló 4*, are situated right next to Castelló Bus and Train Station, where you can take the TRAM. 
Tram Frequency:  
October, 19, 20 - Services is from 7:00am (first exit Grao) until 10:00pm every 12 min.
The one way tram ticket (1.05€) can be purchased at the TRAM. 
The bond (Bonobus Normal (10 trips) - 8.20€) can be purchased at the Central Train station of Castellón ( in front of the Eurohotel and Hotel Luz)

The Jaume I University is linked to the different areas of the city through four bus lines. They all stop at the train station and buses.

If your choice is to get to UJI campus by car, you have ample parking and lanscaped areas.

The short distance that separates the campus of the UJI to the train station and buses (the Hotel Luz Castelló 4* and Eurohotel Castelló 4*, are situated right next to Castelló Bus and Train Station), allowing you might get a pleasant 15 minutes about 25 minutes from the city center. The University Avenue connecting the city has wide sidewalks and separate bike lane.
